We met at a bar. Go ahead and laugh. We always heard the dreaded cliche of two people meeting in a bar, and would just roll our eyes. You never meet your soulmate at a bar – let alone an LA bar! But it happened to us. And to top it all off – it was on St. Patrick’s Day. The year was 2007. The place was The Other Room in Venice. Trevor, out most of the day celebrating with his buddies, was ending his night there. Kerin had just started her night, coming out for a friend’s birthday party. Some random guy (yet we’ll never forget his name – Noah!) introduced us since we both worked in entertainment. Kerin and Trevor got to talking, and the rest is history. We both moved to Los Angeles (separately of course) eight years ago, in pursuit of our dreams and eager for change. Trevor, fresh out of university in Australia, wanted to hone his producing skills in Hollywood. Kerin, growing weary of the hustle and bustle of NYC, hoped to shed her quarter life crisis in sunny SoCal. Neither of us expected our LA journey to turn into something so permanent, yet here we are – not only in love with each other, but completely enamored with this city that brought us together. Seems only fitting that we start our next chapter here in Los Angeles, surrounded by our nearest and dearest.
